About this portal

Paititi, the legendary lost city of the Incas in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, is the guardian of the 7th Solar Disc — Ilumana, the central and harmonizing disc of the entire Time Network. Ilumana is considered the 'heart' of the 13 discs, responsible for synchronizing and activating the others. According to tradition, Prince Choque Auqui took the original solar disc from Qoricancha (Cusco) to Paititi, where it remains protected. This is the most important point of the Solar Discs Network.

Paititi: Technological Search for the Lost City of the Incas

The Paititi Research project uses advanced technologies such as satellite imagery, GIS, and LiDAR to locate archaeological traces in the Amazon rainforest of southeastern Peru. Between 2024 and 2026, structures and pathways possibly related to Inca culture were identified, although no definitive discovery has been confirmed. The legend of Paititi describes the city as a final refuge of the Incas, where treasures were said to have been hidden from the Spanish conquerors.
